Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026

You can browse AnimeKaiTV (https://animekaitv.net/) without signing up or filling in a single form. Still, a few details get picked up along the way, mostly when you comment or press play on a video. Here’s what those details are and where they end up.

Comments

Where comments are open, the form may ask for your name, email and website. We also save your IP address and browser details with each comment. That’s only so we can spot spam.

Keep in mind that a published comment is public. Anyone can read it, so leave your personal details out.

We may also run your email through Gravatar. Only an anonymized version of it is sent, just to check whether a profile picture is linked to it. If there is one and your comment is approved, it shows up next to your name. Gravatar’s privacy policy is here: https://automattic.com/privacy/

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages people open and how they move around the site. It’s a lot better than guessing what visitors want.

It can pick up browser and device details, what you did on a page, and identifiers stored through cookies or similar tech. How much gets collected depends on how our Analytics is set up. Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Cookies

Cookies are tiny files that a website, or an outside service, saves in your browser. They make some features work and remember what you chose.

Tick the “save my details” box when you comment, and your browser can remember your name, email and website for up to a year, so you don’t have to type them again. Other cookies may handle logins, display settings or stats, and each one lasts as long as its feature needs.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Just know that some parts of the site may not work properly afterwards.

Videos from other websites

Some of the videos and other content on our pages come from other websites. You see them on our page, but the service behind them runs on its own.

When you hit play, that provider may learn something about your browser or what you’re doing, and it may set cookies of its own. We can’t control what it collects or how long it keeps it. Want the details? Check that provider’s own privacy policy.

Ads

AnimeKaiTV may show ads from third-party networks, and that’s one way the site covers its running costs. These networks may use cookies or similar technology to show ads and to measure how they perform. We don’t control how they handle data, so each network’s own policy is the place to look if you have concerns. Most browsers also let you limit ad tracking in their settings.

Why we use this information

To manage comments, block spam, look at traffic and fix technical problems. Some of that relies on outside services like Google Analytics and Gravatar, so when you use a feature tied to them, those companies may process some of your data too. Their policies are worth a read if you’re worried.

How long we keep it

  • Comments: a comment and its related details can be stored indefinitely. That helps us recognize follow-up comments and run the comment section.
  • Google Analytics: kept according to the retention settings of our Analytics property.
  • Cookies: depends on the feature.

Some information may also stay with us for security, administrative or legal reasons.

Your data, your questions

If you’ve left a comment or have an account here, you can ask what personal information we hold about you. You can request a copy, or ask us to delete it where that’s possible. We’ll look at each request based on what we have and any legal or security rules that apply. To send one, use our Contact Us page.

Children

AnimeKaiTV isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has shared personal details with us, get in touch and we’ll look into removing them.

Staying safe

We take reasonable care of the information that comes through the site, but nothing online is completely risk-free. Never post passwords, bank or card details, or private ID information in a public comment.

Updates to this policy

If the site or the way we handle data changes, we may edit this page and update the date at the top. It’s worth a look now and then.
